The Summer Solstice marks the day when the sun reaches its highest point in the sky and period longest sunlight. The Summer Solstice is on 21st June. The Summer Solstice is celebrated in many cultures. One viewpoint is that it is a day to celebrate the sun and it's beauty and power. This time of year usually sees lush green across nature and the sun's power is there for all to see. So when better to celebrate the beauty of our world.
