Hello Everyone,

Sad to say goodbye to summer this year I have to admit the autumnal shades and Jewel tones always lift my spirits and there’s little that a luscious espresso pumpkin spiced latte can’t brighten up.

Halloween I have to say is one of my favourite events ,spiritually speaking it’s magical but especially with my fourth grandchild on the way, seeing the 3 that are here choosing their outfits to trick or treat in always makes me smile they get so so excited to see their little pumpkin baskets fill with treats .

It then reminds me of many years ago I spent many months in California and I have to say they really do Halloween in style ,everyone who’s anyone dresses up especially adults and I did too and had one of the best nights of my life, thinking of it makes me realise that we allow ourselves to be so held back here sometimes maybe for fear of looking daft, being the only one, but what if we all just let go a little bit and threw ourselves into all that we do? perhaps embracing something like Halloween ,would allow us to engage more in our own day to day lives ,that’s certainly something we Brits can learn from our American ???????? friends, how to let go! and just enjoy life.I for one am trying to live in the moment and let go of what I cannot control or change and I have to say folks it’s liberating and what better time to embrace that than Halloween so, I’ll be buying sweets and chocolate treats to give out ,  I’ll put out a pumpkin and some leafy autumn bunting and I’ll be dressing up I’m throwing out my fears and totally embracing not just this autumn festival but all that come my way,I want to show my grandchildren that we should all take part in life, how else can we receive any of its treats !!!
