Opening Up First you need to close your eyes and take some deep breaths, mentally focus on a bright white light coming towards you. Slowly feel the light surrounding your entire body and once you feel calm and safe. Then call upon your spirit guides or angels to help give you guidance and inspiration. You will know when your guides are with you, so try to sense their energy.

Closing down When you have finished linking into your guides you will need to close yourself down. Close your eyes breathe and concentrate on your spirit guides. Thank your guides for all their help and imagine a black cloak going around you.

Crown chakra white (situated on the top of the head)

White energy connects with the higher self and will bring you clarity, understanding and peace of mind. It is a link to your spirit guides and will allow you to channel energy through the entire body. It will protect you against negative energies and allows you to open up your psychic abilities.

Third eye Purple (situated in the centre of the forehead)

The purple energy connects us to our unconscious self, and gives us the experience it works with the mind’s eye. It will link into your inner self and give you clear vision. Purple works well with anxiety, inner fears, and healing giving strength to overcome any situation.

Throat Chakra Blue (situated in the throat)

Blue is the colour of the spirit and relates to self expression - speech, communication, the ability to communicate our needs and requirements; Blue has a pacifying effect on the nervous system and brings great relaxation, if you were looking for ways to communicate with others, try to be more open and talk about your feelings more.

Heart Chakra Green & Pink (situated in the centre of the chest)

Pink energy relates to love/self love - the ability to give and take unconditionally. When balanced we are able to give love and also to love and nurture ourselves. Pink is the heart of love full of emotional fulfilment and wealth or any affairs of the heart, Happiness, love, pain, emotions, relationships, babies, engagement, family, friendships

Green energy relates to the stresses of the heart and the emotions, stressful situations, such as a relationship break up or inner pain. Try not to take things to heart as this is a time of sensitivity, giving you time to heal, accept redress and rebalance as things will become clearer. It can also mean restless sleep and bad dreams. 

Solar Plexus Chakra Yellow (situated below the ribs)

Yellow energy relates to intuition, wisdom and creativity. This is our second brain and the gut will never let you down. This is the area of the personality, the ego and the intellect.  Gives us clarity of thought, increases awareness, and stimulates interest and curiosity. Yellow energy is related to the ability to perceive and understand. It indicates changes in a positive way, such as adjusting to a new job, or moving to a new place, help in overcoming money troubles and will allow things to appear clearer.

Sacral Chakra Orange (situated in the lower abdomen)

Orange energy relates to success and self respect; having the ability to give ourselves the freedom to overcome obstacles and helps you expand your interests and activities.  Brings joy to our workday and strengthens our appetite for life! Orange is the best emotional stimulant. It connects us to our senses and helps to remove inhibitions and makes us independent and social.

Base Chakra RED (situated at the base of the spine)

Red energy relates to self-awareness, grounding, stability and growth. It is the area of survival and stability and your place on this earth.  The colour red provides the power from the earth and gives energy on all levels. It connects us to our physical body. It links with inner anger and passion allowing you to release any negative areas of your life.
